Is this ultimate laziness?
Don’t act like you’re surprised that this exists…
So there’s a service called ChameleonMask aka someone wears a mask with an iPad attached to it (being hailed as “human Uber” by one magazine), where you can get someone to attend a gig or event in your place.
Everyone can interact with you as if you were on FaceTime or Skype for example (see below):
Apparently the project was created by someone at Sony to help people attend events (either because they can’t or more honestly don’t want to). If you could, would you do this?
We refuse to imagine a future where the entire venue is filled with iPad faces and bands perform to screens – This is a sad sad thought. Please don’t let this happen.
