6 New Pop Punk Bands To Enjoy In The Sunshine

Sun’s out, pop punk’s on…

As we enjoy the English sunshine while it lasts, you know there’s always one particular genre you can count on to make you 10x more happier as you soak in the rays – Of course we’re talking about pop punk. As with all our music at the moment, we’re making a conscious effort to discover more new music as to mix up our daily listening… so without wasting anymore time here’s 6 particular pop punk bands that should pick up your mood:

1 – Belmont

Pop punk + grooves? We’re sold.  Having signed to Mutant League Records back in May last year, we’re already geared up to hear more from the Chicago four-piece, who are set to release more new music this year (Give their latest single a listen in the meantime) – We’ve a feeling we’re going to get addicted to this band real fast.

2- Set The Score

Having shared stages with the likes of Mayday ParadeMoose Blood and The Wonder YearsSet The Score are yet another Aussie band we know we can get behind.

3 – Grayscale

We knew we were going to like what we heard of Grayscale the moment we saw As It Is‘s Patty Walters featuring on their latest album ADORNMENT which came out only last Friday (their debut release on their new label home at Fearless Records).  This is a band that’re clearly in good company (& something which has definitely helped create a very polished sound).

– Homebound

If you’re heading to one of the Slam Dunk dates this year, be sure to make some time to watch Homebound. The band are also doing a few shows around the festival as they play support on Set It Off With Confidence‘s upcoming UK tour, so you’ve really no excuse 😉

– Columbus

Okay, we’re seemingly gravitated towards Australian pop punk bands. With Confidence, Set The Score, Columbus – They just do it well what can we say! Oh and the fact that they’re signed to UNFD, we know we’re getting a good deal when it comes to this band.

*If acoustic pop punk is your thing (and let’s face it if you’ve read this far it probably is), they’ve an acoustic EP via UNFD out now.

6 – Six Time Champion

Last but not least, say hello to some homegrown Brighton pop punk in the form of Six Time Champion.
